Join us on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. beginning on September 14.
Have you ever wondered why Presbyterians believe what we do?
Do you have questions about how and why Presbyterian beliefs are different than other denominations? Then this is the class for you!
Come to just one session because the topic interests you or come to all the sessions to gain a more comprehensive knowledge of Presbyterian beliefs – the choice is yours! No book necessary, but we will order one for you if you’d like for $14.
The first five studies will focus on the topics of:
September 14 Introductions, overview, and hand out books, A Brief Introduction to Presbyterian Beliefs by Donald K. McKim
September 21 Revelation: How can we know God?
September 28 Trinity: Who is God?
October 5 Creation: God created all things visible and invisible
October 12 Providence: God provides, cooperates, and guides creation
Future topics will include Sin, Christology, Election and Predestination, Salvation by Grace, and more.
Rev. Amy will offer hybrid meetings. If you want to come in person, we will meet in the Parish House meeting room and use hybrid technology so that others may join us via Zoom as well.
Please let Rev. Amy know by August 28 if you would like us to get a book for you.
